Yael Stone, who was born in Australia and a resident of New York City in 2013 in the film, played Lorna Mello as the prisoner on Orange Is the New Black. Yael has graduated from NIDA. Her early work experience has enabled her to meet and work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael is an internationally acclaimed actress across Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush.
