Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, known as an accomplished actor and director. He was also a playwright, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother working and going to play rehearsals. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. She earned a Bachelors in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. In December 2009 they married following a civil ceremony. They were married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011, they renewed vows after her change of religion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk is a variety of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the show would return for a fourth season of production. Season Four debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013.
