Loren Gray

Gray was inspired by acquaintances to start her online journey. However, she actually had greater success than they did. Her mother used the app only to observe her. Loren's acclaim in musical.ly became apparent on social media. People began to react to her music videos, and even making collages from Gray's musical.ly videos available on YouTube. Gray's family members were unhappy at her achievement. Instead of supporting her new venture, they turned on her. Some of Loren's friends deleted their Facebook accounts and began bullying her. Loren said in an UPROXX interview "They often wrote awful comments that I had no talent as well as that I'm rude. that I have lip fillers and I've had some work done. I was anorexic as well as having albinism. Loren's mother was worried about her emotional well-being, which is why she decided to ban Loren from the school.
